The Boathouse

The Boathouse is a three bedroom, newly renovated residence, situated on 2400 square metres of private grounds with the rare luxury of it’s own absolute waterfront. The house has been fully appointed with relaxation for our guests the foremost priority.

 

Kitchen

The kitchen has been newly installed and includes a four burner gas cooktop with Bosch oven, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, a microwave and coffee machine, all with the usual amenities.

 

Bedrooms

The main bedroom has it’s own deck and looks out onto Currambene Creek. It consists of a king size bed and has ample storage space for hanging and folded clothes. Guests are typically awoken by the sounds of the large variety of birds that visit the property and once up, the sight of pelicans on the water.

The second bedroom also has it’s own deck and looks out onto the green lawns and trees. It consists of a queen size bed and has a built in wardrobe. The bedrooms have been styled to ensure a calm and peaceful resting environment.

The third bedroom caters for our younger guests, consisting of two sets of bunk beds and one trundle bed. The room is styled as more of a fun room however is still tastefully finished, enjoying it’s own balcony leading onto the extensive grounds.

 

Living & Dining

To ensure Boathouse guests maximise their enjoyment of it’s unique location and aspect, large decks have been added which extend the living and dining areas and provide the option of relaxing and dining ‘al fresco’. For those chilly winter days and nights guests can relax in front of the fireplace or linger at the six seater timber dining table with a glass of wine from one of the local wineries.

The Grounds

The Boathouse is set on 2400sqr metres of private grounds that have an absolute water frontage on Currambene Creek (the access waterway to Jervis Bay). Out the back, the grounds are totally private and completely gated from the outside world allowing children to play freely. There is a trampoline, cubbyhouse, soccer goals and enough room for almost any bat and ball game you can imagine. Out the front, the grounds front onto the creek and allow for swimming, fishing, kayaking or simply enjoying the view of the mangrove lined waterway and the abundant birdlife.
